Release date: September 20th 2013
The iPhone 5C is Apple's long-rumored "low-cost" iPhone.
In many ways, the 5C is very similar to the iPhone 5, which was 2012's top-of-the-line iPhone model. The primary differences between the two models are the casings and slight improvements to the battery and camera.
The most visible difference between the two models is that the 5C has a plastic body that comes in multiple bright colours.
Some of the most significant new features in the iPhone 5C are:
- Upgraded user-facing camera
- New, colorful casings
- Slightly bigger battery than iPhone 5
Size and Weight:
4.90 inches tall by 2.33 inches wide by 0.35 inches deep
Weight: 4.65 ounces
Cameras:
Like its sibling the 5S, the iPhone 5C has two cameras, one on its back and the other facing the user for FaceTime video chats. The user-facing camera on the 5C offers 1.2 megapixel photos and 720p HD video, while the back camera is the same as on the iPhone 5: 8 megapixel images and 1080p HD video.
