This foldable smartphone, announced on July 9, 2025, is expected to be released on July 25, 2025. It supports multiple network technologies including GSM, CDMA, HSPA, EVDO, LTE, and 5G. The device features a premium build with a glass front (Gorilla Glass Victus Ceramic 2) when folded, a plastic front when unfolded, a Gorilla Glass Victus 2 back, and an Advanced Armor aluminum frame. It is IP48-rated for dust and water resistance (up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes) and supports dual Nano-SIMs and multiple eSIMs, with a maximum of two active at a time.
Physically, the phone weighs 215 grams and measures 158.4 x 143.2 x 4.2 mm when unfolded and 158.4 x 72.8 x 8.9 mm when folded. The main display is an 8.0-inch Foldable Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X screen with a resolution of 1968 x 2184 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and a peak brightness of 2600 nits. It also includes a titanium plate layer for added display support. The cover display is a 6.5-inch Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X screen, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2, with a resolution of 1080 x 2520 pixels and a pixel density of 422 ppi.
Running Android 16 with One UI 8 and supporting up to seven major Android upgrades, the phone is powered by the 3nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It features an octa-core CPU (2x4.47 GHz + 6x3.53 GHz Oryon V2 Phoenix cores) and an Adreno 830 GPU clocked at 1200 MHz. Storage options include 256GB and 512GB with 12GB RAM, and a 1TB variant with 16GB RAM, all utilizing UFS 4.0 technology.
The triple rear camera system consists of a 200 MP main sensor with OIS, a 10 MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 12 MP ultrawide lens. Camera features include LED flash, HDR, panorama, and video recording capabilities up to 8K at 30fps. The main selfie camera is 10 MP with an ultrawide lens, while the cover selfie camera is also 10 MP with a wide-angle lens. Both support HDR and can record 4K video at up to 60fps.
Audio capabilities include stereo speakers, 32-bit/384kHz sound tuned by AKG, but there's no 3.5mm headphone jack. For connectivity, the device offers tri-band Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, USB Type-C 3.2 with OTG support, and positioning via GPS, GALILEO, GLONASS, BDS, and QZSS. Sensors include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, barometer, and support for Ultra Wideband (UWB), Samsung DeX, and Circle to Search.
The battery is a 4400 mAh Li-Po unit with 25W wired charging (50% in 30 minutes), 15W wireless charging, and 4.5W reverse wireless charging. The phone will be available in four color variants: Blue Shadow, Silver Shadow, Jet Black, and Mint.
