Our sustainability mission is to provide Australians with a greener way to buy expensive tech. We have a goal to keep every single smart device out of landfill, by educating more people about circular economy in the used mobile phone & smart device market, and Ozmobiles being the market leader in providing refurbished smartphones to consumers in Australia.

At OzMobiles we want to encourage people to get involved in the circular economy! We want to make buying a second hand phone mainstream, with a local flavour. By buying second hand/refurbished it's great for your pocket, and great for the planet too.

By sourcing the devices ourselves from other Australians we can maintain the quality control, and make sure the entire process has a small impact on the earth. We have spent a lot of time to make our packaging 100% sustainable, and we offer local pickup to keep the carbon emissions down where we can too.

 

OzMobiles Sustainability Actions

We have spent quite a few years looking for a sustainable solution to have 100% recyclable packaging. We wanted also to not import boxes from overseas, and use local companies. We are now working with an Australian company, creating 100% recyclable boxes which means far less waste for the earth.

Going carbon neutral by end of 2023

We want to continue to keep devices out of landfill by encouraging people to used pre-owned/second hand devices which are better for the earth. We are aiming to be carbon neutral by the end of 2023.

Responsible Product Disposal

Helping people to reduce e-waste by buying old tech from them.
We are proud to offer our own buy back program, giving you the opportunity to sell us your old devices when you upgrade.

We want to encourage people to sell their old phones to us, so they can be re-used. It helps reduce the carbon footprint, and gives all Australians cheaper access to their popular iPhones at an affordable cost. You can find out more about our buy back program here
