What's in the box

Blancco Certified 72-Point Checklist

The Galaxy Z Fold7 is Samsung’s latest leap in foldable smartphone technology, combining cutting-edge specs with a sleek, premium design. Right out of the box, it supports all the major network technologies including 5G, ensuring fast and reliable connectivity. Announced in July 2025 and expected to hit shelves later that month, the Fold7 feels surprisingly light at 188 grams considering its large foldable display.
When unfolded, the device measures a comfortable 166.7 x 75.2 x 6.5 mm, with a solid build featuring Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the back and a robust aluminum armor frame — plus it boasts an IP48 rating for dust and water resistance, a great assurance for everyday durability. The SIM setup is modern and flexible, offering Nano-SIM plus dual eSIM support, catering well to multi-line users.
The main attraction is the stunning 6.9-inch Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X foldable screen. With a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support, everything looks crisp and fluid, and the 2600 nits peak brightness means excellent visibility even in bright sunlight. The secondary cover display is no afterthought either — a sharp 4.1-inch Super AMOLED screen, also with 120Hz refresh rate and protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
Under the hood, the Fold7 packs a powerful Exynos 2500 chipset built on a 3 nm process, coupled with a 10-core CPU and Xclipse 950 GPU, promising smooth multitasking and gaming. Storage comes in generous 256GB or 512GB variants, paired with 12GB of RAM, though there’s no option to expand storage via microSD.
Camera performance is solid with a dual setup: a 50MP wide lens with optical image stabilization and a 12MP ultrawide. It handles photos and videos exceptionally well, offering 4K recording at multiple frame rates, plus impressive slow-motion capabilities. The 10MP front camera delivers clear, detailed selfies and supports 4K video, making video calls and content creation sharp and vibrant.
Audio-wise, the Fold7 features stereo speakers delivering rich sound but no headphone jack, so wireless or USB-C headphones are the way to go. Connectivity is comprehensive with the latest Wi-Fi 7 support, Bluetooth 5.4, multiple satellite positioning systems, NFC, and USB Type-C 3.2 for fast data transfer and charging.
Additional touches like a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, an array of sensors for enhanced usability, and Samsung DeX support make this device versatile for work and play. Battery life should hold up well with its 4300 mAh cell, plus fast 25W wired charging, 15W wireless, and 4.5W reverse wireless charging add convenience.
Color options like Blue Shadow, Jet Black, Coral Red, and Mint offer a nice range for personal style. Overall, the Galaxy Z Fold7 impresses with a refined foldable experience, powerful hardware, and thoughtful features that justify its premium price tag.
