You can enjoy not just taking photos with the camera on the iPad Air 3 (Cellular), feel free to scan your documents, jump in on video calls and meetings with confidence thanks to this impressive camera system. It features a wide 8MP main rear camera, and the wide lens opening that lets in a significant amount of light. Wide angles also capture more detail, beauty and colour. It features Live photo and 1080p HD video recording. 1080p is better for slow motion. Although the newer iPad models video in 4K,  4K is clearer and has more detail. Filming with 4k also generates a significant amount of heat inside the camera, which needs to be dealt with. This draws additional processing power from your camera, leading to a shorter battery life.

4K videos can tend to take up a significant amount more storage space. 1080p still provides a good quality video with 1920 pixels horizontally and 1080 pixels vertically. The 7MP front camera features 1080p FaceTime & video.
