The Samsung Galaxy S10 was announced on February 20, 2019, and was released on March 8, 2019.
The device features a glass front with Gorilla Glass 6 protection, a glass back with Gorilla Glass 5, and an aluminum frame. It is equipped with a Nano-SIM slot and supports dual Nano-SIM configurations, with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance (able to withstand immersion up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes).
It features an alluring display of 6.1-inch Dynamic AMOLED with HDR10+, offering a resolution of 1440 x 3040 pixels and an 88.3% screen-to-body ratio. It also features an always-on display with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection.
The device runs on Android 9.0 (Pie), upgradable to Android 12 with One UI 4.1. Also, it supports internal storage options of 128GB with 6GB RAM, 128GB with 8GB RAM, and 512GB with 8GB RAM, all using UFS 2.1 technology.
The main camera setup consists of three lenses: a 12 MP wide-angle camera, a 12 MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, and a 16 MP ultrawide camera with Super Steady video capabilities. The selfie camera is a 10 MP wide-angle lens with HDR support, capable of recording 4K video at 30/60fps and 1080p at 30fps.
For audio, the device includes stereo speakers, supports 32-bit/384kHz audio, and is tuned by AKG. It also retains the 3.5mm headphone jack. The device uses a USB Type-C 3.1 port and supports OTG and DisplayPort.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 comes with a variety of sensors, including an under-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyro, proximity sensor, compass, barometer, heart rate sensor, SpO2 sensor, and ANT+. The battery is a non-removable 3400 mAh Li-Ion unit, with 15W wired charging, 15W wireless charging (Qi), and 4.5W reverse wireless charging capabilities.
