A10 Chip

The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus both have the A10 Fusion chip. The A10 chip is 50% faster than the A9 Fusion chip in the iPhone 6 series, thanks to its new six-core GPU. However, it only consumes two-thirds as much power as the A9 chip. That’s two high-performance cores that run 40% faster than the A9 chip.

The iPhone 7 provides at least two more hours of battery during daily usage compared to the iPhone 6s, and the iPhone 7 Plus offers at least one more hour compared to the iPhone 6 Plus.

Design & Appearance

The iPhone 7 series sees very little change in the outer appearance, but it’s what’s on the inside that matters!

The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are built with Series 7000 aluminium. The camera bump is also carved out of the same aluminium for a more seamless look and feel. The aluminium is a great addition as it’s less prone to bending.

Screen Display

The iPhone 7 features a Retina HD display with a 4.7-inch LED-backlit IPS LCD widescreen. The iPhone 7 Plus features a Retina HD display with a 5.5-inch LED-backlit IPS LCD widescreen.

The iPhone 7 series has been upgraded to include boosted peak brightness by 25% and added support for a wide colour gamut so the colours are extremely accurate, making the phones even more beautiful to look at.

Camera

Another feature of the refurbished iPhone 7 series is the upgraded camera system, better than the earlier iPhone models.

One of the cool new camera and photo functionalities is swiping left from the lock screen to open the camera. You can also now use the voice command “take a selfie”, and Siri will switch on the front camera, ready for you to snap a picture.

The iPhone 7 features a single 12MP camera, while the iPhone 7 Plus features two 12MP rear cameras. The first iPhone 7 Plus lens is wide-angle, and the second is a telephoto lens.

The front camera is the same on the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, with a 7MP camera that features Retina flash and auto image stabilisation for superior selfies.

Video Recording

Both models in the refurbished iPhone 7 series shoot with 4K video recording at 30fps.

4K has a high resolution, so that means more pixels in the overall image. The higher the resolution, the sharper the picture will be.

Both the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus have 1080p HD recording capabilities at 30fps or 60fps, and 720p HD recording at 30fps.

When you shoot at 30fps, it will look like a standard video, which is perfect for Instagram or YouTube. However, for maximum quality, shooting at 60fps will make the captured motion look smooth.
