An update from Auspost as of 22nd March 2021.
Due to the extreme weather in NSW, some areas in NSW and QLD will be experiencing delays in deliveries due to the floods.
Several regions across NSW and QLD have been evacuated due to flooding, and many others have road closures and detours in place, impacting Auspost's ability to deliver to these areas. Delivery will be limited to the following postcodes: 2424, 2426, 2427, 4229, 2430, 2440, 2441, 2756 & 2750, 2751, 2578, (NSW) 4114, & 4207 (QLD).
There are multiple roads facing detours or closures, leading to ongoing impacts for deliveries. Where there is road access, the facilities will remain open, and will be fully operational.
There will be delays to any product bound for Coffs Harbour, Port Macquarie, Taree, Kempsey and North Coast NSW due to limited access and road closures. For Sydney metro, the Nepean region will have limited deliveries on March 22, 2021.
Gold Coast and Tweed Heads are operational but with possible delivery delays.
There are also road freight delays (AP Parcel Post and ST Express Road) that departed Melbourne on Wednesday night (17 March) and should have arrived in Brisbane on Saturday (20 March) but the linehaul is stuck in Taree due to flooding.
