Therefore, when handling bleach you need to be extra careful by putting on gloves and keeping the area airy. In a cup, mix one tablespoon of bleach and mix it well. Then just soak your clear phone case in the cup for 5 to 10 minutes, or longer if needed. Scrub it with a toothbrush to remove the stains and rinse thoroughly to remove any bleach leftover. Let it air dry completely before using it again.

Wood

Wood and water do not work well together as they may shrink or expand it. Now you must be wondering, if not with water, then how can you clean a wooden phone case. Well, the answer is vinegar as it is safe to use on all types of wood without causing any damage to it. To clean a wooden case, what you’ll need is:

  • Water
  • Vinegar
  • Dish soap if required
  • Cloth

The easiest way is to get a spray bottle and fill it by adding vinegar and water to dilute the solution. You may also add dish soap if you desire. Spray it on the case and clean it by rubbing a cloth over it, especially the stains. However, keep in mind not to soak your case in vinegar. Dry the case completely before using it and repeat the process every once a week to keep your case clean.

Leather

Leather covers are high maintenance as they get damaged easily by sunlight, heat, and humidity and we carry our phones all the time throughout the day even in the sunlight. Rubber and silicone cases are almost the same and can be easily cleaned. All you need is water, dish soap, and a toothbrush or cloth to clean it. Scrub the phone case with the soap mixture to remove all dirt stains from it. However, when drying rubber cases, it is advised to either let them air dry or to use a woven lint-free microfiber cloth.
